but I have a good quality sound system at home and if needed, high quality noise cancelling headphones for that

As a musician, these are the best headphones to use to listen to music

The volume is consistent, I can hear it above background noise, but it doesn't cancel noise entirely (which is a good thing to me), so don't expect to use these as noise-cancelling headphones

These are by far the best in-ear-headphones I’ve ever listened with.

The bass is not overwhelming (and often muddled) as with some of the others, but provides it at a level that I find pleasing.

These produced sound that was at least as good as, and in some cases much better than, the more expensive options.
