BoloPick Felt Picks for Ukulele 6 Pack (Purple)

    • Makes a nice smooth sound.
    • The picks are too thick so the sound they make is too harsh/loud for a ukulele
    • Great sound
    • ...why anyone would use these: they're really thick (making them very awkward: best used for strumming only, not for picking), and they make a scratchy sound (like you'd get by dragging a Brillo pad across a set of strings; these are, for all intents and purposes, tiny Brillo pads made of stiff felt).
    • Nice sound.
    • I've never used felt picks before so they were thicker than expected but they produce a lovely sound when used to strum
    • With some minor getting used to it's just like using my fat fingers but getting a more consistent sound.
    • They make the sound loud, yet soft and not vibrate-y
    • As a newbie to ukulele I have problems getting a consistent sound with each strum, this are a lifesaver!
    • sound great with the ukulele, easy to hold
    • Also, it still makes that sharp "picking" sound when I play, though it's less than with plastic picks
    • This pick produces the right sound for me, so I don't mind the expense.
    • My finger produces a loud sound when I strum, but in a way its soft and pleasant
    • But after a few minutes of playing the felt relaxes just enough to make the sound so warm and consistent on my tenor uke that I can't believe I've been using my fingers this whole time
    • They come in different colors and they have a nice soft sound with them.
    • They give a great deep sound to my Low G tenor uke and a soft sound to my soprano
    • They are okay, but after one day of use they started bending and losing shape, causing it to not make a nice sound when used
    • These produce a nice full sound, and were the perfect fix for my problem.
    • Love using this on my ukulele the sound is great
    • They're very soft and they work great and the sound is phenomenal
    • The kids enjoy playing using them and I enjoy the sound of the strings more when they use the felt picks.
    • They really do provide a nicer sound than a traditional pick (you don't get the clicking that can happen). The color variety is nice
    • Great sound
    • Also gives the ukulele a harsher, sharper sound than if you were strumming with your fingers.
    • Has a wonderful sound to it that's much more pleasurable than my thumbs.
    • These are a pleasure to use, get a good sound, and hey, they're pretty
    • Nice soft sound similar to fingertips.
    • Like the sound it produces as well.
    • I like the clean, clear sound it produces.
    • These give my fingers a break while also delivering a consistent strum sound
    • They stand up well and create such a clean sound on my tenor ukulele.
    • They aren't genuine felt, so they create a super tinny sounding contact.
    • They make it easier for me to make my strums sound even pressured as a new player and the tone quality produced sounds more rich than the right sound I get without the picks
    • Also gives the ukulele a harsher, sharper sound than if you were strumming with your fingers.
    • They bring out a nice soft sound that you can't get with plastic picks and the colors make it all the more fun!
    • I'm using them on a baritone ukulele, and they make such a gentler sound than guitar picks
    • Sound is great
    • The sound is good when using them and my hope is that they hold up well.
    • These picks don't take away the gentle and pleasant sound of the uke, and they actually add to the clarity of the strumming patterns!
    • My finger produces a loud sound when I strum, but in a way its soft and pleasant
    • These provide a rich and full sound to any ukulele
    • As a newbie to ukulele I have problems getting a consistent sound with each strum, this are a lifesaver!
    • I think it will take me a while to get use to using a pick, sounds great for special songs.
    • In fact, they are rough to the point that I get a scratchy sound when strumming and worry that they will damage the strings
    • Nice sound, comfortable to use, great for a new beginner!
    • Love the sound of this soft pick.
    • Makes a much more pleasant sound and it very easy to keep hold of
    • Sturdy felt allows for a slightly more subdued plucking sound as opposed to the standard plastic picks
    • Perfect soft sound.
    • They tend to get caught on strings, and to my ear they dig in TOO much, and can make the uke sound really forceful and unnatural
    • A lot less rigid than others I've used, and I love the softer sound that I get.
    • I like the sound they make when strumming, and they are very easy to hold.
    • As a native guitar player, I am very thankful for these! The picks are very thick---mine averaged around a bit bigger than 1/8"---especially since I'm used to thin celluloid picks, but I really enjoy the sound they give to my playing
    • As a beginner, I was anxious to start sounding more consistent with my strumming but couldn't get comfortable with thumbs or fingernails.....these picks greatly improved the sound of my strumming.
    • They give it a softer sound than a hard pick
    • They have a stronger sound than just playing with fingers, but not as harsh as a plastic type pick
    • It's a softer, more pleasant sound.
    • My 9 year old daughter loves these picks as they have more pleasant sound when she strums her Uke
    • They give a softer sound then my plastic guitar picks.
    • Great sound on my soprano uke, saves my fingers.
    • I found I didn't need them because I like the sound of the natural strum when I use my finger or plucking
    • Beginners will especially love the boost in confidence that these picks give when producing such a rich, beautiful sound with zero effort.
    • Make a great sound, I've had no problem with them at all
    • they make a really nice sound and are comfortable to hold !!
    • Personally, I did not like the sound of the felt picks (on a uke).
    • They provide a soft but loud and clear sound without the "flapping" sound of traditional picks
    • The sound is so much gentler than a regular pick.
    • I get the best sound out of my uke with these
    • Great sound and durable
    • Great sound.
    • They are not as stiff as plastic picks, creating a much prettier sound.
    • Nice soft and deep sound on the Uke.
    • Gives very nice sound.
    • Sound is better.
    • Soft and sturdy with good sound!
    • I still prefer not using a pick but some songs need a little harsher sound and these are perfect.
    • The difference between a pick and finger style - picks will increase your speed moving from string to string and will increase the audible sounds from your instrument.
