This is terrific since I previously used another kettle where I would let the water boil and then let it cool for a few minutes until it was the correct temp

Love the gooseneck spout for pour-over coffee--I use an immersion drip system, and I think that being able to control the precise temp of the water helps me make the best coffee possible, more consistently

The variable temp is perfect and the ability to maintain the temperature is also great

It doesn't have a signal when the water has reached the proper temp.

We have used it a few times anyways and just used an instant read thermometer to get the appropriate temp

I usually forget to press the "hold" button right after I turn the kettle on, so sometimes it reaches the set temp and then loses a few degrees before I get to it

For the types of tea I brew, I usually use temps in the mid 170ºFs, the upper 190ºFs, or boiling (212ºF), and it always feels like the right temperature
