Sure, there are better speaker out there, but these are great sounding speakers characterized by their clarity and voicing at a reasonable price point

Your cut off point might have to vary based on your room and the subwoofer you have.you will know the best point when there is no booming bass and the speakers kind of vanish from the sound stage

I get the point that the Bose sound is, to a degree, "manufactured," like most California wines, but for ordinary human beings going about their lives this is a good product.

But the obvious strong point is the unique reflecting capabilities with the angled tweeters.

In other words those Polk, JBL, Wharfedale or Infinity mid-fi products you can find at Amazon are usually higher quality at much better price points

But apart from that the cabinet as the whole seems to be built a bit cheaply. this might be the only reason for me to knock a point off the product

The focal point of their sound reproduction definitely favors the mid range of the sound spectrum

However, as I mature, grow, and learn to appreciate finer details in audio and loudspeakers, I find that Bose is falling off
