Even at max volume (watching GI Joe), it was very very loud and the whole house was shaking, but the system did not distort at all--in almost disbelief it seemed to sound even better and clearer

The sub will rattle your house, without sounding like the speaker is about to explode

As for the sub, it is so powerful, you don't even need to turn it all the way up before it rattles your house.

If u lose the remote u cant change the volume
