Bose CineMate GS Series II Digital Home Theater Speaker System

    • There is no way to tell, other than sound, how high or low the volume is, but it is evidently only around 70% volume before it becomes way too loud for my apartment (a good thing).
    • But the thing I don't like is that the speaker crackles
    • We've had this unit for about 3 years now and can't say enough good things about it.
    • I have to turn the bass down on this system so things will stop shaking on the walls.
    • Another thing which i noticed is, Im getting ear pain when i increase the base of Acoustimass module
    • I love it.and ever thing is OK thanks
    • The more annoying things started for me when setting up the system because of is the proprietary cable connection between the amp, the control module and yes the speakers
    • The system turns off automatically when there is no signal and that is a good thing
    • The nice thing is that you don't need a Amp to drive the system but you don't get the full surround sound effects either
    • I'll just say this thing sounds very, very awesome.
    • All in all, you get what you pay for, which in this case is not a bad thing.
    • I love it for the price and couldn't say enough things about it.
    • One of the first things I noticed when listening to music that I was familiar with was that I could hear sounds and instruments that I never heard before, which is one of the great things that a good system will bring out.
    • This system is proof that sometimes good things can come in small packages
    • Good thing is the module switch automatically based on the active input
    • The main worst thing is, with out the remote you can't do anything as there is no switch/nob in this system
    • The really nice thing is the small control box
    • Or if you wish, you can go to the audio section on your dvd menu and change things on there like bitstream or pcm.
    • There is no way to tell, other than sound, how high or low the volume is, but it is evidently only around 70% volume before it becomes way too loud for my apartment (a good thing).
    • best thing i brought in a long time
    • This thing will blow you away.
    • Another good thing about this system is, It works in 100-240V which means universal voltage.
    • it sounds awesome with any kind of media i throw at it (bluray, apple tv, itunes).the only thing i would like to advice you is to buy speaker stands for the "gemstones".the speakers benefit a lot from "hoovering" in the air and not beeing crunched in a bookshelf.another beauty of this system is that it does not require a lot of space and looks good as a bonus also!if not sure if this is a speaker system you may like, i would suggest to visit your local bose store and give it an audition,.... you most likely will not be dissapointed.just my 2 cents
    • so perfectly effectively replace 3 remotes for me, I love this thing.
    • You can hear things a lot clearer with the bose technology
    • The only weird thing about it is that the inputs are RCA and optical, which are both incredible outdated and make it difficult to have a lot of inputs go directly to the system (e.g., airport, ipod dock, tv, etc.).
