This is the perfect accompaniment for my 50" Samsung LED TV.

Now my TV sounds great, movies and NetFlix as well via the Apple TV, and it's all remotely controlled by a Harmony One remote

You have to use your TV remote to control you TV volume which defeats the purpose of a universal remote or you have to watch all your TV with the Bose system on which is as mentioned above sometimes annoying for TV sound

Anyways I turn the system on which is used with my Sharp Aquos TV and only one speaker plays

This worked for me.2) Set up your TV as described in #1 above, and you should be able to use your TV remote to adjust volume - just as you normally would.3) IF you have set up your DirecTV remote to control the volume on your TV, it should work in controlling the volume as it normally would.4

One other thing I noticed, the Bose speakers sometimes shut off after I turn the TV off, not a major issue, but you do have to turn the speakers back on by pushing the upper left button on the remote.

Samsung Smart TV; very easy to setup; no need of an av receiver or anything just plug it to your TV directly

I have a 60" Sharp Aquos 3D LED TV

My TV falls in the middle, and has neither of those audio outputs.

It's actually not to bad, could use a diagram or two on how to hook different cables to Cable box, TV, and also Blue Ray DVD player, still not sure i got it right

This is very disappointing because with the optical connection to TV all you get sound output but there is no interaction between your TV and the Bose system to for example adjust volume

Remote is a bit bulky, but works the TV and BluRay.
