Bose Noise Cancelling Wireless Bluetooth Headphones 700, with Alexa Voice Control, Arctic White

    • The App is somewhat nice, but buggy
    • The app is entirely superfluous to the user and is instead focused on business goals of harvesting email accounts and phone data.
    • The app is shockingly terrible to use
    • Also, the app has glitches and often does not connect automatically
    • Have not been successful in suing the app on the iPhone but frankly don't see the use for
    • The one legitimate gripe is the app is a little funky and it may get weird hooking up more than 3 devices, but my partner is past the initial set up and is hooked up to two different laptops and an
    • These things sounded GREAT but the app is AWFUL
    • I want to use them with my Windows PC and have yet to be able to connect them with their damned app getting in the way
    • The app has a lot little bugs that are kind of annoying
    • Great hardware and sound quality, would be great if not for horrible firmware and and equally bad mobile app
    • 700 has maintained great noise canceling technology but the app makes it completely unusable
    • Once the headphones work, they are wonderful which makes this terrible app all the more galling.
    • I echo many of the reviews here and after over half year since launch, app hasn’t been improved much at all despite multiple upgrades
    • I have not been able to pair with my phone once because of the poorly designed app that has no customer support
    • Also, the app itself is not particularly useful
    • the app is very helpful for learning all of the new touch functions-it is nice to have a lot more features than the QC 35’s like being able to swipe the volume up and down without using buttons-the fit is much tighter than the QC35
    • Or, you can try and use the extremely poor mobile app (if you're allowed to install it on your work phone) to tell it to disconnect from your laptop, and replace THAT with one of the two personal devices (because you obviously can't disconnect your phone and replace that since you're controlling the next device to connect to from it). This is all assuming that you can even get the app to see the headphones, which it very often fails to do, because Bose software is extremely poor and unreliable
    • It is shameful to see top technology botched by poor useless app
    • Need to install a buggy app
    • Pros:- Best NC in its category- EQ is available now which helps in the Bass- Comfy designCons:- Stupid app (what are the MIT geeks doing with the software?)- Battery
    • I use my Samsung phone charger and its USB-C cable because that's always set up in the bedroom, so the Bose cables stay in the case most of the time.-- THE APP --Here is one flaw, which starts with the requirement to download the Bose app before you can use your headphones
    • The app is annoying and invasive of my privacy
    • The app doesn't connect well, also this app is useless
    • There are situations when you must use a wired connection, such as if your device does not support bluetooth AND the Bose Music App or if the battery isn't charged
    • You can really only get the functionality out of these when using their app that they force on you, and even then Bluetooth fails to connect, or takes FOREVER (on either ios or android)
    • You have to install their crappy mobile app just to control the headphones on your mac/pc, but IF YOU PLAN ON USING THESE FOR WINDOWS/PC LOOK
    • I am loyal to Bose and will always give them the first shot when they come out with a new pair of headphones, but I found the app, the features, the noise cancelling and the comfort to all be better on the Sony.
    • I hope they improve their firmware and app soon
    • I like the app.
    • Lastly the app is trash, its never actually able to find the headphones
    • Pros:- Best NC in its category- EQ is available now which helps in the Bass- Comfy designCons:- Stupid app (what are the MIT geeks doing with the software?)- Battery
    • After reading the reviews, I was hesitant on buying this as the app has proven difficult for most people
    • the better quality set — but are mated to a dreadful app and touch button system that diminishes their allure
    • As others noted, the app is really unstable and unreliable, from trying to register the headphone to trying to connect to it for configuration
    • Excellent headphones in every way and loving design the intuitive app
    • The app didn’t always work
    • -usb-I had to download an app which is lame but the app functions fine and all bad issues seem to be resolved
    • The app is good, the best mobile audio app I've used
    • The app doesn't work if you don't create an account first
    • You have to use the stupid phone app...which uses one of the bluetooth connections
    • Adding insult to injury is how terrible the app is
    • The app cannot even talk to the headset 90% of the time even when you DO succeed in pairing with the device
    • (App the headphones keep asking to connect to), connection with app isn't always good
    • Great app with it
    • The App is somewhat nice, but buggy
    • The app and Bluetooth features are infuriating trying to get them to function
    • I'd actually just like some damned buttons and a consistent behavior from app to app (non-music :) )
    • The app is annoying and not user friendly and needs to be downloaded to make the headphones function - also thr buttons on the headphone are confusing and non intuitive
    • This morning the app on my iPhone was unable to recognize the headphone
    • the app is a little odd sometimes but other than that I love these headphones
    • annoying apps on myPhone -2 and the non intuitive app experience and just make me angry , reminds me of playing with android OS about 9 years ago
    • The real deal breaker is the buggy and unreliable app
    • Wish the apps worked a little better but still love the headphones
    • annoying apps on myPhone -2 and the non intuitive app experience and just make me angry , reminds me of playing with android OS about 9 years ago
    • These force yo to go through an app on your phone and that app is clunky, slow to navigate, and often just cannot connect to your headset
    • the app is a little odd sometimes but other than that I love these headphones
    • Ridiculous that Bose puts out a product that has such a bad app that renders the headphones useless
    • but honestly I love the bose app, when I turn on the
    • Plus the app is different from the previous app for the QC35 - how silly
    • The app is not consistent and often could not connect to the headphones.
    • The App is terrible
    • The app they suggest you install (Bose Music) is useless, having to be killed and restarted very often to detect what devices are connected
    • For almost $400 I should get a tad better product and app service that actually work
    • Noise cancellation is configurable and works as it should and, of course, it comes with amazing sounds
    • I got these to work as they were intended
    • The "voice" and the trumpet blast on powerup/down is annoying as it completely blocks being able to hear anything (either ambient noise or the audio program).
    • These have never worked as they were supposed to
    • I've owned many models from Bose over the last 20 years, as well as the Sony XM2 and XM3.
