The Avantree sound is nice but comparatively muffled compared to the clearer, brighter, more articulated sound in the Bose 700.

I way prefer my shure sound isolating earbuds

I get clearer sound at lower volume setting on a pair of $45 in-the-ear buds, combined with a set of regular ear protectors over top, than this $380 so called noise cancellation headset.
