Subjectively judging the volume, I would say wax ear plugs work the best blocking almost 100% of the noise, Q Adapt block 100% of constant frequency noise (printers, heating/cooling) and 80% of voices and constant cursed elevator music, foam ear plugs 90% of everything, and Bose 95% of constant frequency noise and 60% of voices

They aren't my favorite music phones but the noise cancellation is extremely effective and the sound quality is very good.
