These are really great headphones, they sound awesome, the noise cancelling works great and hey have excellent battery life

and I'm sure the other constraints on closed-back wireless noise-canceling headphones with great battery life make it difficult to achieve sound like other headphones at the same price

Despite these minor flaws, there are plenty of good things, like a great carrying case, amazing battery life, good range, quick charge time, can connect to multiple devices at once, and have amazing noise cancelling (which you’d expect)

so I was very skeptical of the QC35s non-replaceable internal battery, but it really hasn't been a problem thus far

If all you want is great sound and good battery life please go else.

On a 14 hour flight plus connections, the battery dies on the QC35 and it is a pain to recharge whereas swapping a battery is trivial.

Which leads me to the last issue, the battery

It will turn on at random times and the battery gets drained.

This, of course, means the battery will now burn out much faster

These headphones have a good battery life, but the most important thing is COMFORT

WITH THAT SAID, leaving it on will drain it regardless, so make sure to flip that switch and shut them off or how awesome the battery is, isn't going to matter

It's unfortunate as this device has a lot of positives (good battery, great sound, easy to use, nice carrying case and compact fold pattern) but none of them matter if the device doesn't work

Replaceable batteries as the last model had are preferable.

Some prefer removable AA/AAA batteries, but to me it's not a deal breaker.

Bought these for my wife, she loves these and the quiet they give her while doing her meditations, very comfortable and good battery life.

I find that the rechargeable battery is not as convenient as a replaceable battery.

I have unpair, rebooted device, drained the headset battery, reloaded the Bose App, resynch to my phone many times, airplane mode, turned off bluetooth, tried on different phones, computers tablets, ... in the end, it all fails

Even when the on/off switch is in the off position, the headphones will turn on automatically, draining the battery unnecessarily

Still not sure I like the idea of a proprietary battery, as it was easy to just carry AAAs around when you were going on a trip, but it works very well, sound insulation

As far as sound quality goes, the soundscape is nowhere near as rich as the B&Ws; there's something insubstantial about the sound coming from the Bose.

Got confused couple of times which device is being connected to, but overall it supports two devices best as from my experience with other devices.

Noise cancelling is amazing, I preset the button to noise cancelling levels as I use the other phone brand.

The noise reduction with Sony was nearly as good as with using hearing protection ear plugs
