Warm sound, good volume, great battery life, a little strange form-factor

Battery died after about 3 hours after a full charge.

The unit is about the size of a book, and you won't get the bass you would from a larger speaker set, but with its great battery life, clarity, and overal quality, this is a winner

The thing that I really liked about the new version is the improved battery.

In most regards, this product has good design value: good volume, good battery life, sold feel, nice understated lights on front, nicely designed controls on the rubberized top, and good range for the bluetooth connection

The problem is that the Bose has a large, powerful battery, which requires 18V to charge, and hence, a larger power supply

I would have liked to see the user replaceable battery maintained and a USB port built in for charging controlling devices

Bottom line is that it looks much nicer, sounds better and has vastly better battery life (a claimed 14 hours.)All is not perfect in Bose land however Bose has still turned up its nose to aptX, NFC and handsfree

The battery will likely be dead, even if you just charged it last week.

If Bose releases something with the same or better audio quality, better battery performance, and some additional use-ability features, it would stomp all the competition, and regain that last star.

Only think I don't like is the battery seem to die rather quickly
