They didn't have excellent sound quality but it was good and somewhat room filling.

The first two times it came back from Bose, the slip of paper accompanying the speaker said the main board was replaced and the speaker was "rigorously tested to satisfy strict quality standards".

They have great build quality and I liked that the Play 1 has a separate woofer/tweeter, but again, I didn't want to go through the app every time I wanted to play music - I can just use a Bluetooth speaker for that

You will save $50, have Alexa and have a better sound experience (in my opinion) or if you want JUST MUSIC, go get a SONOS 1, which does have much better sound quality.

Played at low volume, quality of sound is very poor.

I replaced it with the Sonos Play:1, which has much better sound quality for music, and interoperates better with mixed sources since it used WiFi.

When using my music library, all I can see is the song name, but no artist when trying to sort through all the song items.- If you're using bluetooth, your sound quality is degraded a bit since the SoundTouch 10 does not seem to support AptX.Completely miss using a decent speaker with AirPlay now.

In and Bluetooth connectivity, the Soundtouch has 6 preset buttons on the speaker itself, as well as on the small remote each speaker comes with

Not to mention that the sound quality wasn’t the same as the first as just didn’t perform nearly as well as before
