I fully expected to replace the 6x9's with a pair of higher quality from JL or Focal and thought the price was still worth it just to have the nice enclosures with sturdy metal mounts
On a posative note, they sound awesome and I could not have asked for a better price.

Looking at them, I think I will mount them under the cover of the Tee Top for added protection, rather than facing forward into the wind and spray of the water and keep them covered to protect them even further
I'll leave the Marine test for others, as that is not much of a listening environment even though, these will eventually end up on my boat hanging from the Tee Top.
