Maybe because of my past experience with Boss/Roland, I was expecting a more user-friendly product.

I don't claim to be the smartest of fastest person around, but I feel I've given the Boss DR 3 as much time as the product is worth for step programming, given the fact I still have my Alesis and Zoom rt223 for practice
