The seat on this chair started falling apart less than a year after purchase with normal use.

My original plan was to buy a Herman Miller Aeron stool, as I'll be sitting in this for 6+ hours per day and aside from just wanting to be comfortable, I also want to be as productive as possible in my job and not worrying about an uncomfortable seat

For a drafting table, or an artist at an easel, this is a brilliant seat!

The seat itself became totally deformed in less than four months--completely flat on the left side and pumped up on the right side

I use the chair at a reloading bench that that is maybe 40" tall from floor to work surface and there is enough adjustability in the chair height to find a comfortable seating position.
