Truly a fantastic best of both worlds feature as I was ultimately looking for a standing stapler but am very glad that I found one which also offers the features of a standard stapler, such as flat bottom and opening up to staple on walls etc.
Highly recommended if you are looking for a staple of this size, function and price
I mean, it's fine, but if I were looking for a sexy stapler, I'm not sure this is the one I'd choose
Very good: nice looking and super practical: has place for replacement staples and stand-up feature saves desk space.

I've always had a black Swingline (44401A), and it has lasted basically forever, looks like, you know, a stapler, and does, I thought, a fine job of stapling
This Stanley, though, does a better job, and feels nicer to my hand while I'm stapling
It does a nice job of stapling pages, not sure about the limit, but it did great with a 10 sheet report.
In any case, the stapler has a nice paint job to it, it looks spiffy and is hands down better than the garbage stapler they provide at the office

I bought this stapler because I have another Bostitch that I have had for 30 years and it still works like a charm.
That was several months ago - the Bostitch is still going strong.
The Bostitch has never jammed on me and it has a nice heft to it.

Otherwise, this is one of the nicest desk staplers I've seen
Sure, it's designed to protect your desk, just make sure there are no small children around
Color is awesome brightens up my desk and perhaps the best part about this model is that one can stand it up using the front side as a base if desired, however, unlike some standing stapler models it offers a flat bottom allowing one to stand it either way

This stapler is heavy and has a nice rubbery top, and never jams
This stapler works perfectly well; doesn't seem to jam, doesn't need a lot of force
In other words, the stuff staplers can do, although this is easier to swing open than the Swingline (because the Swingline requires you to pull a little levery thing underneath, while this just opens).Regarding jamming, I personally have never jammed the Swingline, but I work at a school and the kids seem to manage to jam it frequently
After an extended use, I'm not sure it's anymore jam free than other staplers, but it seems to perform very well.
It dispensed the staples evenly and I didn't have any jam problems like some other staplers have done when I've used them

last thing, I really like the weight of this stapler it has kind of a heavy feel and you should think twice hitting anyone with it, and definitely don't drop this on your foot.

There is the awesomely blunt built-in EZ Remover, which I have not a clue how you would use without tearing your paper every time, yet it unfolds into operating position easily with any small screwdriver or icepick
It easily staples 25 pages at a time, and I love the built-in staple remover as well as the storage space for extra staples.
Staples lots of pages with ease, doesn't jam and the built in staple remover is great!
My only disappointment was the built in staple remover which is clever but doesn't really replace the standard one in the drawer.
