Holds the suction cup mounts for all my GPS devices like a rock (that middle part is a hard plastic).

But, again, my gps (nuvi 2555) constantly falls off the mat.

At 5 1/2 in by 7 1/2 in it requires a large relatively flat space, but it does hold my Garmin 5" GPS quite steady, almost as steady as mounting on the windshield

This is a decent GPS dash mat, but the little bump in the center of the pad is much larger than it appears in the photo.

My gps is secure and I've had no problem with it falling while driving and turning sharp corners.

The things I like about this: 1) works as advertised (GPS doesn't topple--even with my driving), 2) keeps the GPS out of my windscreen view, and 3) my GPS doesn't fall off the freezing cold windscreen anymore.

I'm sure it is only a matter of time before the GPS falls and breaks.
