After completing a 2K+ road trip - excellent choice for my needs - allows gps to sit between steering wheel and dash in wife's car avoiding view obstructing windshield mount.

At 5 1/2 in by 7 1/2 in it requires a large relatively flat space, but it does hold my Garmin 5" GPS quite steady, almost as steady as mounting on the windshield

So, it is perfect for my GPS mount

I would recommend this mount to anyone without a navigation.

Functionally excellent, this mount holds your gps closer, and at a better viewing angle than on the windshed.

Other than that minor condition the mount is perfect.

I would highly recommend this Dash Mount.

After reading reviews and doing some research, I decided to go with this product to have a more secure mount.

I then tried it with my GPS and GPS mount, which is a standard compact, straight up style mount

com to see about a better mount.

I've cleaned the mount and the dash pad several times with a cloth, baby wipes, and anti-static sunglass cleaner.

I have 3 cars and we move the GPS around to all of them occasionally, so having extra mounts makes that very easy

I would certainly recommend this dash mount.
