I wouldn't recommend it as a kid play toy, not sure how long the sticky pad would last then, but so far it works great.

Since it uses the sticky pad, you do not have to drill and holes or use any extra tools to mount it, I like that

The rounded angle is good so the padding isn't getting deformed from hanging for long periods of time

To wrap this up, it is still holding on the shelf after heating the sticky pad and placing it back on for the 2nd

The only thing I would like to see as far as improvements go would be a separate sticky pad and the inclusion of screw holes in the base for an alternate mounting option

Only suggestion might be to provide a version that attaches with wall anchors vs the sticky pad in case I want to move and reuse in a different location.
