I have tried and tested many speakers but this one by far has the best base in trouble range that come a crossed.

The outdoor mode does what it says and negates some base while having a lot of high end treble

I could hear the vocals clearly, the highs were there and the base was very impressive for a unit this small

That being said, don't throw it in the pool and expect it to work just the same as it had.
