It's easy to put together and the base is sturdy

It was easy to assemble, has a nice heavy base to prevent light from tipping and the light is wonderful for knitting, crocheting, reading or any other work needing light.

It is quite sturdy, but when I move the gooseneck in a circular direction, left or right, I have to hold onto the pole so the base doesn't move with it (not a big problem).
