Unfortunately, though, the bulb that came with the lamp was really flakey and had to be replaced after one day

I keep trying brighter and brighter bulbs (which has been costly), but the best I've gotten out of using two of these things is a sort of dim mood-lighting

I also love the fact that it came with an LED light bulb.

Still 5 stars because it’s beautiful, sturdy, and came with a great bulb

The lamp could stand to be brighter if you are using it for a reading lamp (for those of us that still read actual books), but that is easily fixed with a brighter bulb

I selected this one because it allows for a much brighter bulb than similar units.

It comes with a nice, white LED bulb so you don't need to buy a separate one like I did

I used Philips Hue bulbs instead if the included LED bulbs

I replaced the bulb with a stronger daylight led bulb, since the bulb that was supplied was quite soft

I've even added a Eufy smart bulb to it

Using 100 watt equiv LED bulb.

Gives off warm glow, perfect for evenings, even while using my bright LED bulb.

Would have been nice if it included a LED bulb, but I grabbed one at Walmart.

It should also be noted that because of the thickness of the lamp shade (a good thing in general), you need to use a brighter/more powerful bulb if you intend on using it for reading, computing, etc.

It's light, the bulb that came with it is relatively bright, It comes together quick and we're happy with it

The included light bulb is good for mood lighting but we replaced it with a 100watt equivalent LED for more light

I love love love this lamp and I replaced the bulb with a TP Link smart bulb and connected it to Alexa

If you want this to be a smart lamp you'll need to purchase a smart outlet, bulb, or switch separately

Since I really didn't need the extra lighting in my house, I replaced the included LED bulb with my own LED flicker flame bulb, which really makes the lamp shade look like a candle lantern...just my personal preference.
