My main gripe is the time it takes

Before opening, need to hit it multiple times on all sides to "break" the static and have it settle inside

The very first time I used it, it broke

The container where the grinds come out gets gritty each time, which would be ok except that you need to turn it to open the portal to get the grounds and it is really difficult because the grounds make it stick

(You'll learn to use this time to accomplish other kitchen tasks.

Getting the grounds out the first time was a little tricky, but no problem now that I have the hang of it!
