The software provided for this product never worked properly.

Fujitsu includes a great organization software tool that works great with adobe acrobat, where the Brother uses Nuance

Only some models are network compatible (this one isn't) and the "free software" all fights with each other and tries to sell you the real versions of their software.

But it jammed a lot, couldn't handle certain types of paper that looked exactly like other types, crashed the scanning software on my computer several times, and forced me to restart my computer more than once

The other software they provide is not that great either but works

Available software for the machine is very impressive, however, the unit can scan the contents of a file folder to a flash drive in a few seconds
