The printing on the pages is crisp and clear, the number of sheets in a tray works well in our environment

it looks like so I'll have to miss some work to deal with these issues

This printer is working great.

Everything that you will try to do with this machine will be difficult at best - printing envelopes (still does not work), using the feeder to scan (will only scan with the top of the page facing left forcing you to rotate everything in a PDF reader), printing one sided by default

I am working with Brother Technical Support, who have been very responsive and inquisitive about this issue, but I doubt that they are going to be able to mobilize the engineering team in Japan to make the necessary (presumably) software fixes for this problem

It is working great so far!
