There are no guides and sometimes the labels come out crooked.

It prints any kind of label/sticker sheet skewed one direction or the other by several degrees, resulting in crooked text that is not aligned to the edge of the paper properly, and of course making the labels look horrible

Some folks might not notice or care that their labels are all crooked, but having a minor OCD streak it drives me mad

You should probably steer clear of this model, or else you will be chucking a lot of label sheets, or ending up using a lot of substandard looking labels if you can't bear the idea of tossing them

I bring attention to it because some labels were printed crooked

I recommend Brother products as they are reliable and economical to use

Was able to print from computer with Win 10 as well as from a cell phone, Galaxy

This could be a deal breaker though I have not contacted Brother tech support as of yet.

You have to download and run a client application on your machine to scan items, which is annoying as I expected a streamlined scan-to-e-mail function

So now the printer is ready when I need it working as it was intended.

Hit or miss as to whether my paper will print when I need it to and the wifi is the big reason we bought this one.

This a a great b/w laser printer workhorse for the home office using typical letter and legal paper

Great B/W quality and super quick printing.

If you want a good B&W laser print, this is a good choice.

The printer sleeps, wakes up when requested to do something, does its thing spitting out good clean b&w print, and then goes back to sleep

It prints great B&W and 2 sided as well.
