Nice machine, thinkning other brother machines i had this would be great, but the scanning function, at least for me, is PAINFULY slow

I purchased this printer after having owned 2 other Brother machines, both very good

You have to buy a more expensive Brother multifunction machine to get full scan to email capability

I give the printer 4/5 because it's an excellent machine when printing/copying/scanning, but it requires way too much effort to set up wifi functionality.

The machine will prompt you to use the front facing feeder, where you have to feed in one sheet at a time, but it doesn't force you to do so.

I really like the auto sleep feature, the machine goes nto sleep mode after use in about 30 seconds and wake up in less than 15 seconds.

You have to download and run a client application on your machine to scan items, which is annoying as I expected a streamlined scan-to-e-mail function

So now the printer is ready when I need it working as it was intended.

Hit or miss as to whether my paper will print when I need it to and the wifi is the big reason we bought this one.
