Wish I had paid attention to the negative reviews

I'm leading with that since we almost didn't get it because of a couple of other negative reviews from Mac users, but it was easy to set up and works great

On the first dozen pages of negative reviews, only four pertained to the 2550 model, and three of those four reviews were wireless problems

i think that this is your best review !

n’t do them justice when negative reviews are for their previous model

Obviously the reviewers at the time never really used their Brother laser printer because the number of negative reviews has skyrocketed.

I've read other negative reviews reference this printer and based on those reviews, almost didn't purchase it.

I just have to say, after buying this computer based on so many positive reviews, I am really disappointed by how complicated and difficult the setup process is with our Macs

I am surprised it had a reasonably good review

In particular, I noted the glowing review on The Wirecutter of the sister model which doesn't have a document feeder

This has a lot of in depth reviews already so I will just way that it works great, has cheap 3rd party toner options with good reviews, but has unreliable wifi.

I finally selected the Brother DCP-L2540DW after reading a large number of positive reviews.

Being brand new, I cannot speak to the long term reliability of this printer but here are a few things I learned in my research: the older version of this printer, a Brother 2540 model, is the source of the vast majority of negative reviews for this printer--whether the 2540 or 2550 model

I ignored the negative reviews in favor of the positive ones but three and a half months into owning this printer, it has completely gone crazy.

It prints great B&W and 2 sided as well.
