Brother P-touch Home and Office Labeler (PT-D200)

    • It is simple, attractive, and multi-featured, but simply not efficient enough on the tape-consumption for my personal taste
    • Another great feature of this labeler is the ability to add frames and small decorative pictures to labels.
    • It does the job if I ignore the special features, but my old PT 1830 is a much better machine and is much more easy on batteries
    • Does have some cool fonts and neat features, but havent been able to use them all.^^^The review above has more letters in it than I have printed on the machine going through 12 batteries.^^^
    • This labelmaker has so many cool functions and features!
    • Lots of cool features I'll probably never use!
    • the unit make labels just like the more expensive model and has lots of nice features but comes with no ac
    • This is a quality product, and has some great features for the price.
    • Good feature set for cheapPrints don't rub off easilyPrints fastUseful fonts and selectable formats for printsLarge, easy to use keyboard and buttonsEasy to useGreat print quality! Can store 30 presets for label formatsOptional AC adapterCons:Large and bulkyPrinter leaves a 1" margin on tape regardless of specified margin sizeDefault print too smallBatteries not includedNo backlit displayLabel adhesive strips difficult to exposeSo for all this printer does, I can't say as I'm thrilled about it
    • Has a lot of really great features, most of which I'll probably not use
    • While there are other lable-makers that are certainly more feature-rich, most of these are considerably more
    • Nice package, good price, good speed, nice features, but eats a lot of blank tape
    • This labeler exceeded expectations - it was easy to use and has many features making it ideal for home or office
    • My co-worker Christine B. argues that the ability to store up to 30 "favorite" labels is a better feature.
    • It also has some decent features if you need to make a label a certain size, or font and more
    • Otherwise it works well and has some great features!
    • This is a handy, compact little labeler, Has just enough features to create different sized labels for just about anything
    • it's fancy 'features',
    • There probably is no right answer to that question since both features are AMAZING!
    • I was very impressed at the ease of setting it up and love all the features.
    • Works as we expected and does the job.
    • The preview mode doesn't give them justice, once printed they look as sharp as they do on the template reference sheet
    • If you follow this suggestion, you will need both an adapter AND batteries, however, I would imagine the batteries will last longer than they would if you used battery power to generate the labels as well as to maintain memory settings
    • Another waste, as they then drain after another week
    • A lot of label tape is wasted as it seems you must have a 2 inch margin on either side of the words.
