I love label makers and this has just furthered my OCD with labeling items.

They wasted 3 hours of my time trying to get warranty service on a defective label maker that went bad after only 3 weeks and less than one full tape cartridge.

If you follow this suggestion, you will need both an adapter AND batteries, however, I would imagine the batteries will last longer than they would if you used battery power to generate the labels as well as to maintain memory settings
