This turns out to be a good thing, as the printer tends to waste a lot of tape at the beginning and end of the label

I label things that don't need labels, so be weary of using too much of that tape because you'll get very enthusiastic about labeling things if you enjoyed this thing as much as I do.

The good things about this labeler is it is very simple to use and there are lots of pictures and settings to play with

It's all true, this thing eats batteries like no device you ever saw before

If Brother would correct these two easy things, this would be a nice label maker.

One thing I hate about this labeler is how quickly it drains batteries

only thing negative is the price of refills

Casio doesn't make the labeler I loved any more and I searched for the right thing

It's one thing to produce inferior products but to ignore your customers is not acceptable in my book

All the other reviews are correct: The thing wastes a lot of tape if you're just making one-off labels

But it does print labels well and these things are useful to the OCD community like myself that simply must organize and label everything

I needed it that day and didn't have time to shop for it, so I didn't know too much about it and the box said a lot of good things

There was enough power left in the batteries to print 5 or 6 labels after the dumb thing wasted 6 inches of label by stopping in the middle of printing to give me the warning

If not for this fact, I'd actually like the thing, but it pisses me off too much to use it.

So printing out a label here and there isn't an easy thing--it's cumbersome, and I'll be less likely to actually do it than if the process were effective

This thing runs out of charge quickly and is clearly draining the batteries while it sits unused on the shelf.- Doesn't work with standard 9 volt power supply.
