The Deco Mode is perfect if you don't want to waste time on being fancy schmancy with your labels but the first design is a joke, it's like a dot matrix template.

but my gut feel is that they ( Brother), wouldn't have spent the time and money for the smart look of the equipment exterior and then neglected the interior/function itself.

All the other reviews are right about the battery life: even if you only printed one label, your batteries will be dead next time you try to use it, get ready with 6 AAA batteries

I caught the Brother PTD2000 Labeler and a good time with the right price with the intent of getting myself better organized.

It takes 6 AAA batteries and they will be dead every time you go to use it, even if you power it off.
