I guess in the long-term it should come out to be about the same as the DYMO offerings, and the Brother has some other advantages in the labeler itself, but this seems like a pretty big design flaw to me and an environmentally (and economically) unfriendly nuisance

I bought batteries which will be fine as long as they don't drain after only a few uses
