We have an older PT-1830 & we wasted a lot of single prints on margins before realizing the above.

It also wasted a lot of tape on either side of the label which I had to cut off even after sizing.

PT-65 ... was the best ... easy to use and basically economical tapes ... as you did not waste a lot of tape when printing .. but the PT-65 eventually died after many years of use.

I love all the features on this product but as you can see in the photo there is a lot of wasted tape, enough to make at least 20 more labels (that is from 26 different labels).

I've used different model P-Touch printers and they all seem to waste a lot of tape

The cutter blade is missing so I have to waste a lot of tape in order to properly cut the labels

Other reviews says that the spaces between labels are a waste of ribbon, which it kind of is, but it's a lot less of a waste than other label makers I've used in the past, and it doesnt bother me at all

Only reason for taking a star off is, with all of these printers, you waste a lot of label at the beginning of the print.

Looks like the new P-touches all have a ton of wasted margin space (seems suspicious to me, waste a lot of tape on your machines so people have to buy more of YOUR tape), compared to the older model

I played with the fonts, the margins (I did find that if I did not use an arrow margin, a lot of tape could end up wasted), and everything I printed came out looking great!It is a simple label maker
