The bad thing about this printer is that the documentation is lacking and the Brother website needs a web 2.0 makeover which adds to the problem

Even after one of my workers knocked the thing off the table and broke the top bit and jammed it up, it's still chugging along

I have worked with printers for 20 years and this thing takes the award for being the most difficult, cumbersome, user unfriendly unit I have ever come across

Now I understand the whole scene in the movie Office Space when they grab a bat, take their printer out to an empty field and smash the thing to pieces

Very baffling but the only thing that I can really complain about.

The only thing I'd like it to do is also print on thermal paper, like receipts?Profesional-looking results, and pretty easy to use software that constantly updates - annoying, but at least they're still developing for it...

The other thing I wanted was die-cut yellow labels and they do not exist that I have found, other than one continuous label from Brother

Seriously, I freaking love this thing it is fast, quiet, reliable, the software is easy to use

This is one of the most difficult things I've ever tackled

The software for editing labels would be the hardest thing to get

However, the P-Touch Editor software that allows you to create your own label formats and link to your own databases (in my case SQL Server) is INSANELY complicated, though if you could actually master it you'd be able to do some great things

(I even figured out the "uneven font" thing by adjusting the setting in the QL-700 software.)

This thing is so fast, it does turn off after it isn't used for a bit but after the second time wondering where my label is i now remember.
