    • This is the RIGHT version of the cable to get.
    • I've heard there are problems with knock-off versions of this cable but this real one from BaoFeng Tech works great!

    • UV-B5s work fine with the cheap prolific cable, but the version 2, 27 menu, UV-B5s will not
    • Great product, better than the cheap knock off version.
    • I bought this one after hearing about problem with the non-authentic, albeit cheaper, version
    • I'd hold off on using Chirp with this cable for Baofeng UV-82HP until Chirp has a stable version.
    • As promised, no backrevving drivers to make it work, just download the latest version of Chirp, and it just works.
    • Don't waste your time on the other cheaper cables, get the expensive versions that work.
    • Knock off versions may have a different chip that may not work as well according to folks on YouTube
    • Working great Better then cheaper versions
    • If you are running a new version of Windows this cable works.
    • Works fine, but unless written, there are cheaper versions with same chipsets
    • Wasted $8 on a cheaper version cable
    • Then we read the reviews and turns out most people have trouble with the cheaper $10 version cable
    • Don’t bother wasting your time with cheaper versions
    • No more frustration from my cheaper version
    • I spent the extra money and got this cable because i heard the horror stories about getting the knock off versions to work properly.
    • and I replied with a lengthy e-mail detailing step by step the question/answer dialog with the support dept
    • I bought another cheap-o cable before and that did not work at all
