When they hang against the wall or the door it mutes their sound, so I am looking for another hook to use.

Each bell is approximately the size of a tangerine or small apple, and makes a pleasant ringing sound

I have Poochie Bells, but the sound is too faint for me to hear well

They are almost 3" in diameter, so they are huge and the sound of the jingle is just perfect.
