The binding is a bit stiff - so if you really want to get in the center, the book breaks a bit

The only flaws I have w this journal is that the dots are a bit darker than other journals and that the paper is very thick (feels like moleskine sketchbook paper) but the paper thickness is what gives it the sturdiness and ability to hold up to watercolor and markers :)

I used a black Tombow Dual Brush pen in mine and as you can see, it may have ghosted a little bit, but it did not bleed through at all

The grey was a bit darker than the photo which I actually appreciated
