Classy looking and very functional

Nice clean look on outside, overall a great journal especially for beginners like me.

The paper is smooth, there is very little ghosting, the pages lie flat when writing, and I like the simple black look of the book itself

I've been looking for good quality notebooks for a while, preferably with a leather cover (faux or not), and preferred if they had dot-grid as an option

The leather-look cover is secure and the the pages are stitched securely

They're sturdy, high quality, and elegant looking

With the pens, it leaves a clean look, no smear or runs (again depends on your pen too)

Liked the easy look of it and sturdy pages that writes very good with almost any pens and mechanical pencils
