My only complaint (but not worthy of a reduced star rating) is that the first and last pages of a signature (groups of folded sheets, sewn together to make the book) sometimes don’t open as well as interior signature pages, and need a little creasing at the spine to lay flat.

The pages are nice and thick which works well with my colored Staedtler pens I just bought.

I would mention on some of the pages, the dots on the left and right pages to not line up perfectly

I highly recommend these notebooks because of the sturdy cover, thick pages, and the back pocket was a nice surprise.

Best feature by far is the lay-flat pages that stay flat and along you to easily write without having to fight to keep the pages down.

The pages very stiff (they can be "broken" in though) but some of the binding makes it very difficult to open the book at all

I have a similar notebook by Picadilly, and although it has more pages, it bleeds easier and pages are stiff and sometimes break from the spine

I like the thick pages and the fact they are sewn in.

I have had to tear out pages when I’ve made mistakes and that in turn messed up the binding, so other pages will likely fall out.
