There has been no problems with the operation of the coffee pot but the smell of the water container seems to have a peculiar smell something hot burning.

Some reviews have mentioned the burning plastic smell and others water leaking, We have had none of these problems, Just great coffee in the morning.

The issue is after about 4 days, I started smelling this awful burning smell in my house almost like plastic or wires melting.

After the initial setup, done as per manual, I started smelling a very bad burning smell

I had used a different model of Bunn for many years, but have now switched to a B&D, which we really like.
