BUNN CSB2G Speed Brew Elite Coffee Maker, Gray

    • The flavor couldn't even come close, an hour on the hot plate and the coffee tasted scorched
    • The only complaint I have is the warmer plate light quit working after I had it a week.
    • Not only does this coffee maker smell like burning plastic, it also has had intermittent problems leaking water onto the warming plate before the entire pot of water was poured into the unit
    • No device that stops coffee from brewing/filtering if coffee pot removed from hot plate-the coffee pot is a terrible design, and almost impossible to pour coffee/water without it spilling down the pot all over the counter
    • Since there is no "brewing hold" feature, if you remove the pot early, coffee will drip all over the warming plate and make a mess
    • It worked good until one day the warmer plate light quit working but the warmer plate was fine
    • With the Bunn, you MUST remember to turn off the warmer plate
    • Another small issue is that the plastic around the warming plate which is nice and new is experiencing scuffing from the pot being slid on and off.
    • Never! The WARM plate is a Tepid plate and is useless
    • I would love it more if it had an automatic warmer plate turn off after 2 hours and a programmable start to make coffee.
    • I had to send it back because the carafe wouldn't sit flat on the warming plate.
    • The warming plate does not keep it hot at all.
    • It doesn't have an auto-off feature on the warmer plate.
    • It seems to come through the spout and ends up pooling over the hot plate
    • The hot plate doesn't keep the coffee as hot as units of 15 years ago.
    • The warming plate is a separate power switch.
    • (The bottom warming plate will not come on, although we can still brew coffee.
    • There is no auto off for the warmer plate
    • Here are the quirks: No timer , no auto plate warmer shutoff , contains a hot water reservoir , that takes a long time bring cold water up to temp prior to initiating process and does evaporate some volume if left on
    • The hot plate doesn't hold the heat as good as my previous versions.
    • I would suggest adding a way for the customer to select how long the warmer plate can stay on - 1 hour, 3 hour, until turned off
    • Firstly, there is basically no tray where the carafe sits so it slides right off the warmer plate, which is made of very slippery plastic
    • I can only assume that's when the heater is actively running and the warmer plate is on
    • The only thing I would say to watch is once he closed the top by mistake without putting the carafe back in place and the coffee started brewing (immediately as it should) all over the hot plate!
    • Never! The WARM plate is a Tepid plate and is useless
    • The warming plate keeps the coffee piping hot for several hours (our family usually drink all the coffee within 30 mintues).
    • Yesterday, March 12, 2018 the warming plate decided not to warm
    • I brewed two pots and the coffee tastes VERY weak and isn't very warm even after sitting on the hot plate for a bit
    • As you add water - purchase a pitcher - you want the pot on the hot plate as the water will start flowing immediately.
    • Another downer to this unit - the warming plate stays on until turned off
    • coffee is not very hot, its has no timer, and the warming plate is hot but does not keep the coffee hot
    • There is also a separate switch for the warming plate which is the same as other coffee makers.
    • Another downer to this unit - the warming plate stays on until turned off
    • It will take you 12 seconds to pour because of issue #1 above, meanwhile the entire time the decanter is away from the hot plate the other half of the pot still brewing will pour directly onto the hot plate
    • I would also add that you do have to remember to turn off the hot plate for the pot manually - there is not an automatic shut off.
    • The hot plate does not keep the coffee hot.
    • Come on, even the $10 walmart coffee makers have a little valve thing that prevents coffee from dripping onto the hot plate when swiping a quick cup on the go
    • Yesterday, March 12, 2018 the warming plate decided not to warm
    • I also did not realize that the warming plate does not have an auto-off setting and MUST be turned off manually.
    • There is no timer to set my coffee(you can't even prep it because it starts pouring automatically) and by the time you pour the water in to make a pot the water is already pouring out without the pot on the hot plate or the on switch on
    • The only negative for me is, the hot plate (warmer) is flat not recessed, so the pot can easily slide to one side or the other, but this hasn't been an issue for me.
    • I hated it - so many parts to clean and the coffee didn't taste as good as from the Bunn.
    • love a
    • Works as it should.
    • I've been a bit disappointed over the years that they aren't as heavy duty and durable as they once were, but I have grown accustomed to that as the new norm in Bunn coffee makers
    • The coffee stays just as warm as when brewed.
    • I know some other reviewers complained about having to keep it plugged in all of the time, that doesn't bother me, I can afford that extra $20 dollars a
    • My husband and I both wondered as we navigated the usage of this thing: Why didn't Bunn put a sight glass on the container so people could see the fill level
    • I have had this plugged in for over a week and it still smells as if something is burning even while the machine is at rest
    • I used one at our cabin to heat water from doing dishes, to washing hair and taking sponge baths, to making tea and hot cocoa as well as for it's intended purpose of making coffee.
    • t stay hot long enough.
    • bought a BUNN NHS Velocity Brew 10-Cup Home Coffee Brewer, worst coffee maker I have ever had, have to let it warm the reservoir for 10 min and still don`t come out warm enough, then I have to add 2 to 3 times the coffee to get it strong enough.
