It's FAST and brews a nice strong pot of coffee (we will learn to use less coffee, eventually)

Another way this crack tends to develop is when someone is pulling items out of the cupboard above the coffee pot... their elbows tend to bump the pot as they lower their arms

I have never heard anything bad about BUNN coffee makers but this is by far the worst coffee pot we have ever had.

As suggested in another review, I ran a coffee pot full of the contents of a bottle of rubbing alcohol and water through the system followed by several runs of clean water until the alcohol smell was completely gone; now there's no plastic smell or taste to the coffee and every pot is perfect.

the slide lid that controls the water flow is cheap and feels like it would not last.it may have been just the one i got however it would not make a hot pot of coffee even though the brew bank is supposed to be at 200 degree"s.also the power cord is only 2 feet long so in my case it was very difficult and had to rearrange the counter to get close enough to an outlet.

You can’t use the caraft to fill the water, if you try the water just runs out before you put the pot back - big MESS!

One problem with this coffee maker is that, in my opinion, the heater for the pot doesn't keep the pot hot enough.

This is the third BUNN coffee maker we have bought, this one was the shorted lived, we only make 2 pots of coffee a day, so it isn't like it is over used, VERY disappointed, as it broke yesterday April 14, 2014 (was bought January 2013) look at other brands, we stuck with BUNN because it brews a good pot of coffee, and fast, but they just aren't made like they used to be :(

I never had a problem, but as soon as I would start pouring water in, it almost immediately starts dripping... now, with the pitcher, the carafe always sits on the warming pot and the water can start trickling in as soon as it wants
