When I started on the hutch one of the boards busted out when I tried to put the screws in it,at that point I just stopped, I would recommend the desk but not the hutch.

The screws that held it either split the particle board or rounded out almost immediately

The boards were warped when it was delivered and one piece of wood I broke.

The nails that came with this desk are extremely brittle--they are prone to bending and a couple even broke as I was hammering them in
