I Bought four of these cables and they seem like nice, heavy duty cables, but after 5 months and only a few uses two of them don't work anymore.

The cable jackets and strain reliefs are well built, but I do feel that the jacks will loosen over time and are not of the best quality construction

I think for sound reinforcement pro audio that these appear to have solid construction and very good sound, and are a heck of a good bargain.

I mean, they work now, but new products shouldn't be faulty so obviously and visibly!

When using this from the preamp to a subwoofer amp and then to the main amp, there is so much hum and noise as to be unusable

Worked good for practice, next day during the service, mic didn't work, tried a different mic with the cord, still nothing.

I got these to use with the Rode Procaster which is a dynamic mic that gives a low-gain signal and requires a lot of oomph from the preamp

I purchased a pair of 6ft long cables, as I wanted to have great cables to go along with my brand new SM7B dynamic mic, and the Cloudlifter inline preamp I bought for it

So far no problems and 15 feet is a pretty good length

I like their ideal length : not too long, not too short

Unlike cheap/thin XLR cables, these make no noise at all as I "nestle" them into a more favorable position

The thicker cable helps to prevent crimping or other damage, and they actually convey a noticeably louder and cleaner sound

It failed within three months, first giving that awful "crackling" and popping sound, then failing completely, in the middle of a gig

and I challenge anyone who says more expensive cables sound better
