I live in an older house and don't have enough outlets where I need them.

It takes up both outlets on the wall, but it's worth the sacrifice as you gain an addition 6 plus 2 usb

I love all the outlets.

And..... I also went from 2 usable AC outlets to 6.

Electrical outlets work, but the USB outlets are DOA.I have tried these on two wall outlets, and used a total of four USB cables, and under no circumstances do the USB ports work on either of the units.

I bought a less expensive multi-outlet plug at a discount store - it was poor quality and while it had two USB plugs, it did not support IPhone charging.

We needed a simple outlet to surge protect and increase the number of outlets available in a small space

The extra outlets is great

It does what you expect: the six outlets provide power, and the two changing ports have so far worked fine for an iPhone (in the 'Phone' port) and a Kindle Fire (in the 'Tablet' port)

Even though it only makes electrical connection to the top outlet with the bottom outlet serving as a stabilizer, the 15A current draw from a single outlet should be well within the safety margin of most household NEMA 5-15 sockets.
