I got a kindle fire hd for x-mas and rapidly noticed I wasn't able to connect it, via wifi, to any other accessory, like a ps3, smart tv, blu ray, etc

The TV just doesn't support the Kindle format

I just plugged into my LED TV and to my kindle fire 8.9 and it worked right away

We can watch "Prime" movies on my HDMI input capable TV

Wasn't sure if my TV was defective, my Kindle or the cable

If I didn't have any TV service this would also suffice.

Regulary TV has become awful, but we have discovered old movies and television shows we once loved to watch once more.
