Ultra thick saturated tones, definitely not a clone (I thought it would be) and that’s a good thing!I’d like to preface this by saying I am a guitarist, pedal aficionado and an audio recording/mastering engineer

Aside from that this thing sounds much quieter so far than my 1spot adapter, and it doesnt have a daisychain of unused cables that short out against metal like the 1spot did.

A bedroom volumes this is an okay dirt pedal, at full band volumes, this thing is incredible!

but cheap, and is incredibly versatile as a booster, now as a distortion for solid state amps this thing is not recommended as it lacks a little bit of personality, what the pedal does is enhance the personality your tube amp already has and help bring the power tube overdrive we all crave, worth 4 times as much as the asking price if you ask me

It's a screaming deal for a great pedal and if you don't like it, even with the increase in Timmy supply in recent years, it seems from looking around like you can still resell the thing for basically what you paid.***I have used a Danelectro Cool Cat CTO-1 Transparent Overdrive for several years as *the* cornerstone of my tone in several bands
