In my application, I wanted to have a trunk mounted wired camera (bought a stand alone one), and a wireless camera mounted to the rear of my small travel trailer to see behind me while driving and while backing up into a dark camping spot

I place the camera on my boat rail at the stern when towing, this allows me to see traffic coming up from behind in the blind spot created by the boat

That works out great because the wide angle shows vehicles that might otherwise be in my blind spots
